Overview
As I predicted the game would go, Wednesday was absolute snoozer of a matchup against the Islanders. The Wings were first to falter, giving up an early one about 5 minutes into the game. I thought we were about to be in for doozy, but for the next 50 MINUTES, we went without any action in the game. Thank God I was able to play Warzone while the game was going on because there was a whole lot of cardio going on. Finally, with about 5 minutes left in the third, Berggy came to our rescue and wristed one top shelf to tie the game at one. He’s been playing stellar as of late, and the flood gates have now opened for him. Then in end of the season fashion, the cardiac Wings decided to take the lead with a minute left with a beautiful play from Larkin and Raymond. Larkin’s no look pass was so gross that I didn’t care that we didn’t get a Debrincat powerplay point. Overall, it was the game I was expecting, but we’ll take a W all day.
Wednesday was another night that we won units on the night. We’re on a little bit of a heater right now. We finally hit Debrincat’s shot total for the first time this year, after we’ve failed miserably so many games in a row. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to get the powerplay point after a ton of good looks, but as long as we are making units on the game, I don’t mind. The final pick we had was those two parlayed together, which obviously didn’t hit, but again, I’m not too mad. Tonight gives us a chance to keep up the good picks with a matchup against a team that actually acted on terminating their coach.

Prediction
Tonight marks our first matchup against the Bruins this year. I am a little envious of the B’s because they actually got rid of their dogshit head coach, who was losing them games. I wish the Wings would take notes, but we know Lalonde isn’t going anywhere anytime soon unfortunately. The Bruins have some talent and have a new coach, so I’m not sure how this game is going to go. I hope we are the ones that are catching fire because my heart can’t handle a blowout tonight. This is a big game to pick up some momentum, which sets the Wings up to absolutely disappoint me once again. The key players to watch tonight are Pasta and Marchy, who will exploit the hell out of you if you play sloppy. This game is a toss-up for me, so hopefully the Wings can prove me wrong and get a nice back to back win.
We’re keeping it simple tonight with the picks. The Bruins get a ton of shots on net, and despite Talbot’s shaky last few starts, I love the line he has for saves tonight. The Wings love to get outshot in games, so 27 saves shouldn’t be an issue for Cam. I’m also going to ride the pick from last game, Debrincat’s over in powerplay points. He gets a ton of looks on the PP, so this is so worth the high odds that he is given. We were able to get Larkin’s total the second time around, so let’s hope it is the same for Alex. Finally, I love parlaying these two leg bets, so for the both of them at +550 is a steal in my eyes. Let’s make some more units tonight!
Picks
Debrincat o0.5 PPP +250 (1u)
Talbot o26.5 Saves -115 (2u)
Parlayed Together +550 (1u)
