Overview
I’ve seen enough of this team. What the hell do they even do at practices. Lalonde needs to get a grip and do some peewee practices with this team because they don’t know how to do basic fundamentals. Watching them breakout of the zone is worse than being burned alive. The amount of times I watch them flip it on the boards and it ends up on the defenseman’s stick is sickening, and it is the reason we lost the game. Just an all-time lazy breakout led to Marchy getting a wide open look and putting us out of our misery. They had a million opportunities to take the lead too, with Copp missing an empty net on a breakaway, along with a few other looks. This team is allergic to putting thew puck in the back of the net. II actually lose braincells watching this team play sometimes and it doesn’t make any sense. They need to snap out of this trance that they’re in and figure things out. I don’t know if they are just sulking about missing the playoffs last year, but that shit needs to end. 0 for 4 on the powerplay, 9 to 23 in hits, 26 to 16 in giveaways, need I say more?
Fuck me the Wings should hire me as their coach, as we’re on a four game roll with the picks. We got saved by bell with a dump in by the Bruins being the last save that Talbot needed to hit his over on saves. I was a little worried too because the Bruins only had 5 shots on net in the first period, with Talbot letting one of those by. Thankfully that two unit play ended up saving us because the powerplay stunk, so Debrincat couldn’t get that powerplay point that he needed. As a result of that missing, the parlay lost, but thankfully I only had two total units on the PPP and the parlay. Hopefully, we can keep the hot streak alive as we play the Islanders for the final time this season.

Prediction
Thank God we will be sparred after tonight from having to watch these two teams play each other. 1-0, 2-1, I mean just some of the most boring hockey on the planet is played between these two teams. I am so tempted to take the under tonight, but I know as soon as I do that, they will have the best game of all time. The Wings enter tonight’s game in 26th place in the league, but there’s no way things can be as worse as they are. With the talent on offense, something is due to break through. For a team that’s as streaky as they are, we really haven’t seen that at all this year. Only one time this year have we seen them win three games in a row. All I’m asking from these assholes is that they can string together a little run here to close out 2024. If they can go 4-3 or better in their next 7 games, the next stretch of games could boost them right up the standings. It is all reliant on if they want to lock the fuck in and actually play some hockey.
With Tarasenko getting bumped up in the lines, I’d love to see him tuck one tonight. His odds are pretty high, and with him on a line with Raymond and Larkin, he will get a ton off good looks tonight. Another half-unit play tonight that I like is Lyon to get a shutout tonight. While he hasn’t looked his best, these games against the Islanders are extremely boring, which boosts the odds of a shutout. For the price I am getting on those two plays, I don’t mind dabbling a little bit, especially with us up in units now. The next two picks will be combined together, as we have the Wings to win and Larkin’s over in shots. The Wings are now 2-0 against the Islanders. The Wings must’ve figured out how to play against them, so they are in a good spot to win tonight, despite their struggles. Larkin has played so well this season too, so for a line as low as only 3 shots on net, he is also in a good spot to hit his mark.
